Biography

Cissie was born in Swansea Wales on 8 September 1889. She is the daughter of Robert Edward Richard and Clara Ann (maiden name yet to be researched).

At the time of the 1911 Census, Cissie was residing in the household of Herbert William Lewis in Cardiff, where she was working as a servant.

On 30 July 1924 in Aldershot Hampshire, Cissie age 32 married Henry Albert Lodge, a milkman. They would become the parents of a daughter, Gwendoline, who was born in 1925.

Cissie was widowed in 1951 and she passed away in Aldershot on 13 April 1964 at age 74.
