Research Notes
Work published in "The New England Historical and Genealogical Register. Boston, MA: New England Historic Genealogical Society, 1847-." Vol 163 on the Humphrey Blake and his Descendents there is definite proof that Alice Richards married Phillip Torrey and four of their sons moved to America. More details on this will be published under Alice and Phillip rather than here.[8]

1. OurFamilyHistories, no hits.
2. Original profile had 1558 as birth date. If married in 1569, circa1550 is more likely to be correct. Sarah appears to be second wife mentioned on Geni.

Hi. It looks like there's a problem with this family. The relationships between this man, his parents, and his siblings are not logical. Absent contemporary sources, that indicates dubiousness.
His notional half-siblings appear to be mothered by one of his in-laws* (not a step-mother) ie his father slept with his own son's wife? Not impossible (not unprecedented) but it is more likely this is a merge related mess, right?
Who herself is in need of a merge as her husband is married to two profiles who seem to be the same person.
