Biography

William was born in 1901. He was the son of George Richards and Anne Ferguson.

There is anecdotal family information that there were two children born to William, and his wife, Amy:

• Frank RICHARDS
• June RICHARDS who may have married a Mr. Maloney ^[1]

The 1925 Electoral Roll records William living at Derrimut St., Albion, Victoria, Occupation: Fitter,^[2] but the roll does not list another Richards living at the same address in 1925. However, the 1928 Electoral Roll records that Amy Richards - presumably his wife, is living at the same address.

The 1954 Electoral Roll records William living at Derrimut St., Albion with Amy Richards. There are no other Richards recorded as living at the same address.

The 1967 Electoral Roll records William still living at Derrimut St., Albion with Amy Richards.^[3]. There are no other Richards recorded as living at the same address.

He passed away in 1975 aged 72. ^[4][5]
