John Richards is said, by an unsourced family tree, to have been born 01 April 1669 in Newbury, Essex, Massachusetts Bay Colony, the son of Humphrey and Mehitable (Ruggles) Richards.[citation needed] This information is not found in the Newbury Vital Records and needs addtional source information.
John married Sarah Cheney on 16 July 1696 in Newbury,[1] after intentions were published there on 27 June 1696. She was the daughter of Daniel and Sarah (Bailey) Cheney, born Newbury on 11 September 1666.[2][3]
His death was not recorded in the Newbury Vital Records.
