Hello Cary,

My name is Lynda Farley and Murdeu Beverly was my maternal grandfather. He married Hattie Roe Jackson. I am trying to research both family lines and have gotten some correct info, but a lot more incorrect. I was just wondering if you have any confirmed information or stories on these surnames. I would greatly appreciate your help. Thanks Lynda (}

Cary, Please remember that per our honor code and pre-1700 certification, we cite sources. Please make sure to add sources to the profiles you are adding to WikiTree. Thanks!

Cary, do you happen to speak any other languages? Would you check out our languages template and add it to your biography? For example you might add

{{ Languages | en | fr-2 | ga-1 }}

to the top of your biography if you speak English natively, intermediate French and basic Irish, or you could use de-4 to specify near-native German or ru-1 for basic Russian, and so forth up to ten languages.

It really helps to know who speaks all the different languages used on WikiTree! If you only speak English, you're very welcome to use this text to make that clear:

{{ Languages | en }}

Hi Cary, i will try to fix email issue. Although u may try going to my direct profile, but I might have done something wrong as I'm new to wiki tree. So I'll check into it.

On the step vs full blood issue, I've noticed that on the names you listed Susannah as Susan Stevenson, from what I know so far you can edit her name on all the children and her husbands profile and this should update all to blood siblings. When I started researching over 10 years ago, everything said Her name was Susannah (Stephenson) Lusk probably when u update u will then be able to connect her with her 2nd husband Thomas Godfrey and their son.

We are probably related somewhere back in Germany. We had a Josephine Henkel born 1880 and died 1882. Pretty sad. Have fun researching.

Hi Cary,

Thank you for making contributions to WikiTree. I noticed that you have been adding and/or editing people who were living before 1700. Here is a link to some WikiTree information about editing those ancestors. It is very important to cite quality sources when you add/update the information. You may also want to go back and review the source information that you read when getting certified for pre-1700 profiles: Sources in general: Thanks! Kay Wilson

Hi Cary, I see that you just did the Pre-1700 Self-Certification. That's great! This certification requires participation in a project related to the profiles you wish to edit. Is there a particular time period, location, or topic you're interested in? Maybe you have some historically-significant ancestors? Also, check out our Volunteer Hub to see our projects that really need new members!

Let me know! I can help you figure out if there's a project and introduce you to the project leaders. Welcome aboard!
