Biography

Sarilda "Sandra" Richardson was born in 1842 to Benjamin & Sally (White) Richardson.^[1] A Kentucky native; she stayed in the state her whole life.

Sandra married Nathaniel Jacob "Pete" Lutes on the 10th of September 1863 in Irvine, Estill, Kentucky.^[2] They spent the next fifty-five years together and had the following children: Susan Ann, Edward Nathan, Liza Adeline, Sarah Jane, Hayley Ann, James, Joshua, George, Richard, Mary Belle, Emmanuel S, Rebecca, and John Henry Lutes.

Sandra passed away on the 1st of March 1926 in Estill County, Kentucky.^[1] She had reached the age of eighty-five. Cause of death was a long duration of Milk Leg. Her husband Pete preceded her in death by eight years. Both were laid to rest in the Lutes Cemetery in Estill County.
