He married Selina Huges ^[2] on the 6th October 1894 at St Phillips, Birmingham ^[3] Edwin was 24 and a Brass Caster, Selina was 23 and had no occupation listed, they both lived in Steelhouse Lane, and the witnesses were Florence Bolton and Samuel Hughes

He passed away ^[4] in the December quarter 1930, aged 60 in West Bromwich, Staffordshire.

In 1901 ^[7] his family were living in Birmingham and his occupation was a Brass Caster. In 1911^[8] his family were living at 56 Headingley Road, Handsworth, Birmingham, and his occupation was a Brass caster. He had been married for 18 years, had 10 children born alive (meaning none stillborn) 8 still living and 2 who had died.
