Biography

Barbara A Richardson was born in Maine in 1851 to parents Samuel and Naomi Garland Richardson. Barbara married Alfred S Rankin about 1868 in Hancock County, Maine and lived in Aurora, Hancock County, Maine until she passed away in 1885.

In 1860, the Richardson Family lived on their farm in Aurora, Maine. All members of the household were born in Maine. The household included Samuel Richardson, Jr., 35, a farmer, with $500 in real estate and $125 in personal estate; his wife Naomi, 32; their children: Ada, 11, in school; Barbara A., 9, in school; Louisa, 7, in school; Sally C., 5, in school; Samuel, 2; and Isabella, an infant.
