James Monroe Richardson was born on December 20, 1856, in Alabama, the son of Catherine and William. He was married three times: 1 - Sally Hudson (1855-1892), 2 - Frances 'Fannie' Cole (1856-1922), 3 - Sarah 'Sallie' Lowe (1874-unk). He died on March 27, 1950, in Memphis, Tennessee, at the age of 93, and was buried in Tipton, Tennessee.
