Biography

Clarrisa Richardson was born in Hart County, Georgia in 1888. Her parents were Sinclair Columbus Richardson (1851–1930) and Amanda Louisa (Bobo) Richardson (1857–1928). She also had ten brothers and sisters.

She met and married Samuel N. Mays. Together the couple had a son Harry C. Mays, a daughter Anne Mays, along with eight other children.

Clarrisa "Classie" (Richardson) Mays passed away in Anderson County, South Carolina, May 26, 1962. She was 73 years old.
