Biography

Johnathan Andis Richardson was born about 1715 in Prince William County of the Colony of Virginia, the son of Joseph and Sarah Richardson.

Jonathan married Anne Massey on October 2, 1759 in Baltimore, Maryland.

Children were:

  • Thomas Richardson
  • Amos Richardson
  • Jesse Richardson (1760-1839)
  • Mary Richardson
  • Aimy Richardson (b. abt. 1770)
  • Nancy Richardson

Jonathan is thought to have passed away about 1773. [1][2]

According to this web page: http://freepages.rootsweb.com/~coatsblueprints/genealogy/7558.htm Jonathan married Elizabeth Taylor before Ms. Massey. I assume it would be this Elizabeth Taylor: https://www.wikitree.com/wiki/Taylor-16862 With Elizabeth Taylor they had these children:

  • William Richardson b. 1755 Loudon, VA d. 1835 KY (my line)
  • Joseph Richardson b. 1745 Loudoum, VA d. 1817, Rockingham, NC
  • Mary Richardson b. 1755, Fairfax, VA, married Absolom Melton
