Biography
Esther was born on 1 November 1766 in Newton, Middlesex County, Massachusetts. She was the daughter of Jeremiah Richardson I (abt.1736-1816) and Dorcas (Hall) Richardson (abt.1741-1832).[1][2]
Esther married Abel Clough on 29 April 1788 in Newton, Massachusetts.[3] "The Genealogy of the Descendants of John Clough of Salisbury Massachusetts" published 1952 indicates that Esther's maiden name was "Richardson".
Esther married William Clark in 1817 after Able Clough died in 1815.
Esther died at age 70 on 17 January 1837 in Fabius, Onondaga County, New York. She is buried in the Old Fabius Cemetery in Fabius.[4]
