Biography

Thomas was born 9 Feb 1899 in Glen Elder Mitchell, Kansas. He was the son of Ebenezer Richardson, born in England, and Nettie Neff, born in Kansas.[1]

In 1900 he was living in Walnut Creek Township, Mitchell, Kansas.[2] The household included Eb* Richardson age 61 born in Maine, wife Nettie W Richardson age 23 born in Kansas, son Emmit D Richardson age 19 born in Kansas, son Russel W RIchardson age 17 born in Kansas, daughter Zerelda E Richardson age 3 born in Kansas and son Thomas J Richardson age 1 born in Kansas. Ebenezer was a farmer. Nettie was the mother of 2 children, both living.

In 1905 he was living in Mitchell, Kansas.[3] The household included Eb Richardson age 64, Russell Richardson age 21, Nettie Richardson age 28, Zerelda Richardson age 7, Buleah Richardson age 3 and Thomas Richardson age 6.

In 1910 he was living in Walnut Creek, Mitchell, Kansas.[4] The household included Alvin Helm age 29 born in Missouri, wife Nettie Helm age 32 born in Kansas, daughter Zerelda Helm age 13 born in Kansas, son Thomas Helm age 11 born in Kansas and daughter Bulah Helm age 8 born in Kansas. Alvin was a farmer. Alvin and Nettie had been married 1 year. Nettie was the mother of 3 children, all living. Russell Richardson lived next door.

He registered for the World War I draft in Mitchell, Kansas.[5]

In 1920 he was living in Walnut Creek, Mitchell, Kansas.[6] The household included Alvin E Helm age 38 born in Missouri, wife Nettie Helm age 42 born in Kansas, son Kenneth C Helm age 9 born in Kansas, son Glen E Helm age 4 born in Kansas, stepson Thomas A Richardson age 20 born in Kansas and stepdaughter Beulah E Richardson age 18 born in Kansas. Alvin was a farmer. Thomas was a farm laborer.

In 1930 he was living in Cawker City, Mitchell, Kansas.[7] The household included Thomas A Richardson age 31 born in Kansas, wife Mable E Richardson age 28 born in Illinois, daughter Marjorie Richardson age 7 born in Kansas and daughter Charlotte Richardson age 5 born in Kansas. Thomas was a farmer.

In 1940 he was living in Twin Falls Election Precinct 5, Twin Falls, Idaho.[8] The household included Thomas Richardson age 41 born in Kansas, wife Mabel Richardson age 37 born in Illinois, daughter Marjorie Richardson age 17 born in Kansas and daughter Charlotte Richardson age 15 born in Kansas. Thomas was an attendant working in engineering at a lodge.

He registered for the World War II draft in Twin Falls, Idaho, where he lived and worked at Evergreen Lodge.[9]

He died 23 Oct 1960 in Castleford, Twin Falls, Idaho.[1]

He is buried in Sunset Memorial Park Cemetery, Twin Falls, Twin Falls County, Idaho.[10]
