Barsheba Richardson and Thomas O'Neal were married 7 October 1795 in Johnston County, North Carolina. [1]
Barsheba O'Neal purchased 202 1/2 acres of land from William Brown in Meriwether County, Georgia. The transaction took place on 8 February 1836 and was recorded 16 April 1836. [2] This transaction proves that Barsheba did not die before they left North Carolina. She did, in fact, make the journey to Morgan County and then to Meriwether County, Georgia.
Barsheba is first mentioned as being deceased on 9 November 1840 in probate court in Meriwether County, Georgia. [3]
