Also wonder why his father didn't raise him, but father did die when https://www.wikitree.com/wiki/Caswell-564 was 10 years old..
It took me a while to figure it out.
If you can figure out how to show Richard Caswell https://www.wikitree.com/wiki/Caswell-564 as nephew to William Smith, that would be helpful.

Yes, still here, just a little 'slower' ! Steve
I wanted to update you with my activities in the Southern_Colonies project. Just completed April Connect-a-Thon with group Southern Sweepers. Added between 40 and 50 new profiles for North Carolina in the late 1600s to early 1800s. Updated existing profiles to some extent, connected new profiles to existing profiles for parents/children/spouses, and proposed merge for at least one pair of existing duplicate profiles. What fun!

It’s time for a Project check-in!
Scotland Project Leaders check in with you at least once a year to see how you are doing. With the changes happening around the world, we understand that life is hectic right now.
What are you planning to work on for the Scotland Project this year? Are you happy with the team(s) you part of, or would you like to make some changes?
This time round, we’re also looking for feedback on the use of Google Group and Discord. Do you use one or both of these? If you don’t use either of them, what is the best way to ensure you receive Project communications? If you would like to join us on Google Group or Discord, let us know in your response.
Let me know if you are interested in joining that team.
Digest emails are the default setting for Scotland Project, as there are times when it can get very busy. If you would like me to change your setting to each email, I can certainly do that, if you like.

I have gone through the more than 14 of my ancestors who are very likely revolutionary veterans (no tories found). Only 2 of those have 1776 icons in their wiki profiles, so I have some work to do.
However, neither of those 2 with icons have 1776-project listed among the profile managers. Is this correct? I was going to use those as examples, but now I'm not sure.
What is the relationship between the 1776-project (and its profile format) and having a 1776 icon on the profile?

I am posting this because I have received no response in trying to join the google group for 1776 communication.

I post DNA messages weekly on Sunday .
I thank on g2g for those with Wonderful WikiTreers appreciation.
I manage the google group and introduce new members to the entire membership of Military and War, composed of WikiTree members who are involved in either Military and War, American Revolution, Civil War, World War II, World War I, War of 1812, and French and Indian War, etc. These members are a part of WikiTree.
Thank you for your participation in October 2020’s Source-a-thon. Your contributions helped us to clear over 57,000 profiles that needed sourcing. This makes our Shared Tree all that much better.
Keep up the great work!

We're sad to inform you that the Black Sheep Project is being dissolved. All BSP's subprojects will be moved in pieces under the Notables Project as categories and perhaps as Teams, depending on interest. Witch Trials will become a subproject of Notables.
Your BSP project member badge will soon be removed. If you'd like to join the Notables project, please let one of us know and we'll get you a Notables badge.
Please email either of us if you have any questions and if you'd like to join the Notables project.
Thanks, Susan McNamee & Traci Thiessen ~Co-leaders, Black Sheep Project
