Mary Richardson's DNA has been tested for genealogical purposes. It may be possible to confirm family relationships by comparing test results with Mary or other carriers of her ancestors' mitochondrial DNA.
It is likely that these autosomal DNA test-takers will share DNA with Mary:

Thank you, Ms Mary, for this generous welcome and I so look forward to be active in this group!! I believe we will be running into each other and know we have much more in common than questing for our ancestors!! Love your quilt!! And you and I both "escaped" from San Antonio!! Have a great rest of the week!! Thank you again and I will go research your suggestions!!
WOW, I LOVE that bleeding 9 patch quilt. Always planned on making one. ANCESTRY, GENEALOGY have taken over my lovely quilting time.
Thanks for asking about the SWISS pre1700 group but I have no interest in dealing with the Meyers & Mullers as they're just too many of both. I just know about 1 canton & have a cousin that reads old script German much better than I do.
Thank you Mary for the link to resources and for having me on the Southern Pioneers Project. I have a TON of .pdf files of out-of-copyright books, mostly concerning Virginia and Georgia (where my ancestors came from and ended up) and the Moseleys, my maiden name. I have them online at a file-saving/sharing site that seems pretty secure. I'd love to share them with whoever might have use for them, is there a way we can add this to the resources page or share it with the othr members?
