Riche, Robert Boyd — (March 6th, 1930 - August 22nd, 2000)

Passed peacefully away at Palliative Care Unit, St. Clare's Mercy Hospital on August 22nd, 2000. Boyd will be lovingly remembered by his family; his devoted wife Verna; sons; Dr. Barry (Janet), Derek (Phyllis), Blair (Wanda); four precious grandchildren; Allison, Terrence, Nancy and Spencer Riche; brothers; Charlie (Mimi), Ron (Rachel), Raymond, Paul, Dick (Doreen), Lloyd (Heather); one sister; Nancy Riche; as well as a large circle of other relatives and friends. Resting at Carnell's Funeral Home, 329 Freshwater Road. Visitation on Wednesday from 1-5 pm and 7-9 pm and Thursday from 10 am - 12 noon. Funeral Service from First United Church, Mount Pearl at 2 pm on Thursday, August 24th, 2000 with interment to follow at Mount Pleasant Cemetery. Flowers gratefully accepted or donations in his memory may be made to a charity of one's choice. "Safe in the Arms of Jesus."
