Biography
Maria Jubilee Richens was born in 1887 at Benson (also known as Bensington) in Oxfordshire. She was the daughter of Alfred Richens and his wife Emma, born Emma Tutty. [1] [2]
In 1891 Maria J. Richens was living in Brook Street in Benson with her parents, Alfred and Emma, and their other children. Her age was given as 3, implying a birth date in 1887 or 1888. Her birthplace was given as Bensington [that is, Benson], Oxfordshire. [2]
