Burt Richmond was a son of Amaziah Richmond and Abigail (Burt) Richmond, born 14 May 1770 in Berkley, Massachusetts. The family removed to Barnard, Vermont, by 1780.[1]
He married Mercy Huntley. [1]
The 1850 U.S. Census recorded Burt Richmond, age 78, a farmer, and a native of Massachusetts, living in the poorhouse in Barnard, Vermont, because of "old age." Betsey Richmond, age 55, a native of Massachusetts. was also residing in the poorhouse, because of "disappointment," but the two were not listed together. Burt died in 1850.[1]
