Biography

Nathaniel Richmond, son of Edward and Mercy Richmond, was born about 1700 in Taunton, Bristol, Massachusetts.[1]

He married Alice Hackett on 2 Nov. 1732.[1]

The 1897 genealogy The Richmond family stated that Nathaniel was killed in the Louisburg Expedition in 1763 and that his widow married Finney. [1] However, in 2000 the Mayflower Five Generation Project reported that Nathaniel had in fact died earlier, between 1739 and 1744, and his widow married Onesimus Campbell as her second husband at Taunton on 18 January 1744/5. Joseph Finney of Bridgewater became her third husband on 14 January 1762.[2]
