The Find a Grave memorial indicates an 1830 birth date for Deborah. This is in contradiction with information engraved on the gravestone (see photo) which supports a 1824 birth date.
Census records are inconsistent.
Deborah had six siblings: Margaret, Eliza, Minnie Cornelia, John F, Lydia, and Ann J.
In 1855 Deborah and James were farming in Masonville, New York (Delaware County). By this time the family had begun to grow: Charles was four years old; his brother Wellington was 3 and little Elizabeth was one year old.
Deborah and James soon returned to Franklin (1860). James took over the family property neighboring his brother's (Robert Jr ) valued at 3500 dollars. By now Charles is 10, Wellington is 8 and Elizabeth is 6. Their younger siblings are Cornelia, 4; John R, 2; Irving R, 4 months.
Deborah Pierson died in 1867, five years after giving birth to her youngest child, a daughter, Eliza Pierson
Husband James A Pierson remarried prior to 1870. He and his second wife, Augusta, did not have children.
Deborah's youngest daughter Eliza is listed in the 1870 census.
Deborah Pierson's birth date. Gravestone reads " Deborah, wife of Jas A Pierson, died June 13, 1867 aged 42 yrs 8 ms & 18 ds." 67-42=25. This would indicate an 1824 birthdate.
Deborah's son Irving who would have been 10 is not listed; perhaps he did not survive.
Maria Piersen, age 14, is listed in 1870 census. Her birth year would be 1856, the same as Cornelia Pierson in previous censuses. Minnie C Pierson, age 24, is listed in 1880 census. Conclusion: Maria, Minnie and Cornelia are one and the same person.
I've found no birth or marriage or census records attesting relationship to parents John Richmond and Eunice Billings. By 1850 Deborah was married to James A Pierson, and thus was not cited in the 1850 census at her parents' address. The same year, 1850, Eunice and John Richmond appear on the same Census page (i.e. geographically near) as Deborah and James Pierson. (Ryder-1228 17:05, 3 October 2017 (EDT))

It may be possible to confirm family relationships with Deborah by comparing test results with other carriers of her mitochondrial DNA.
However, there are no known mtDNA test-takers in her direct maternal line.
It is likely that these autosomal DNA test-takers will share DNA with Deborah:
