Last will and testament of John M Richmond.
I, John M Richmond, of Salem Fulton County, Arkansas being of sound and disposing mind memory and understanding do make public and Proclaim this to b emy last will and testament hereby revoking and making null and void all former wills and testaments and writing in the Nature of last wills and testament.
My will is first that my funeral charges and expenses incident to the same and all just debts shall b epaid by my executors hereinafter named.
The esidue of my estatae and property which shall not be required for the payment of my just debts funeral chages and expenses attending Execution of this my last will and tesstament and the administration of my estate.
I give devise and dispose thereof as follows to wit.
I give to the children of my deeased son R.F. Richmond by my first wife, the sume of one dollar each, their names being Henry, james and Jospeh Richmond, to be paid them by their legal representatives within one year after my death or sooner if my executors shall see fit to pay the same.
I give to the childrne of my deceased daughter, Marrtha J Dunlap, being Harriet Dunlap, Sarah F Dunlap, John M Dunlap and Elizabeth Dunlap to be paid them on their legal representatation as soon after my death as my executors see fit.
I give and devise unto Jospeh H Richmond, my son by my first wife the sum of one dollar to be paid him within on eyear after my death or sooner i fmy executors see fit.
I give and devise unto my son , John R. Richmond, my son by my first wife the sum of one dollar to be paid within on yeear ater my death or sooner as my executors see fit.
I give and devise unto my daughter, lettisha G. Johnson, my daughter by mypresent wife the sum of one dollar and to b epaid as soon after my death as my exector smay see fit.
I give and devise unto my daughter, Louisa B Isenhower, my daughter by my present wife the sum of one dollar to be paid her as soon after my death as my executors may see fit.
I give and devise unto my beloved wife Frances C Richmond all hte residue of my property both real and personal of every kind of description for and during her natural life and her death, I wish all the property that is not otherwise disposed of to go to the remaining four of my children by my present wife Frances C Richmond towit, Sarah B Talley, Samuel B Richmond, Mary B Whitaker and Matilda E Richmond.
And then I wish them (the last named four) to share and share alike and I do herey ask that G.W. McWhirty to be appointed executor of this My last will and testament.
In testimony whereof I the said John M Richmond hereunto subscribed my name and affixed my seal on this the 12th day of November AD 1896.
Signed sealed and elivered by the said John M Richmond to be his last will and testament in presence of us who at his reuest and in his presence and in the presence of each other have herein to subscribing our names as withnesses
