Moses was b. 20 July 1818 in Grafton, Vermont[1] to Ephriam (1783-1846) and Elizabeth (Childs) Richmond(1778-1836). He m. Susan Hendria Garfield, dau of Timothy P Garfield and Harriet Frost of Campton, Kane, Illinois. They had six children.
