Biography
The daughter of Paul F. Richter (1879-1954) and Anna Mae Schlossow (1883-1920), Irene was born in Detroit in 1905. In 1910, residing in Detroit's Ward 18, her father was a foreman at a basket factory.[1] In 1920, in Ward 20, her father was a machine repairman at an axle factory.[2] She married Harold Crittenden in Detroit on September 5, 1925.[3] They made their home in Deaborn[4] and in Detroit, where her husband worked in the forge plant at an automobile factory.[5]
She passed away in Royal Oak at the age of 67[6][7] and is buried in her husband's family's plot at Macon Cemetery in Macon, Michigan.[8]
