Frieda Marie (Richter) Shaw, 87, passed away peacefully on 23 December 1984 at North Vancouver, Greater Vancouver Regional District, British Columbia, Canada. She was born on 8 April 1897 at Loomis, Pacific, Washington, a daughter of Francis Xavier Richter, 1837-1910 and Florence Elizabeth (Loudon) Tweddle, 1877-1959. She married Norman Aeneas Shaw in 1931.

Mrs. Shaw's usual residence was at Powell River, British Columbia and she was a housewife.

She was survived by: her siblings, Florence Elizabeth (Richter) Pendleton, b. 1895; Kathleen (Richter) Durnan, b. 1907; half siblings, Haliburton Thomas Tweddle, b. 1913; Margaret Elizabeth (Tweddle) Newstrom, b. 1915; and numerous nieces and nephews.

Mrs. Shaw was preceded in death by: her parents; husband, Norman, 1898-1971; siblings, Helen Frederica (Richter) Clark, 1901-1959; Francis Xavier Richter, 1910-1977; and half siblings, Charles "Charley" Richter, 1869-1949; William Richter, 1872-1922; Joseph Richter, 1874-1971; Edward Richter, 1876-1966; and John "Hans" Richter, 1877-1961.

Frieda was buried on 31 December 1984 at the Powell River Cemetery, Cranberry, Powell River Regional District, British Columbia, Canada; plot: section BB, space 421. There is no marker.The findagrave memorial ID is 190453234.
