Frank J. Rick, Sr., 84, of 2316 Van Buren Street, New Holstein, Wisconsin passed away peacefully on Friday evening, 8 October 1999 at St. Mary's Hospital in Green Bay, Brown, Wisconsin. He was born on 1 September 1915 in Chicago, Cook, Illinois, a son of Leo Rick, 1879-1959 and Pauline (Jane) Rick, 1922-1977.
On 20 September 1947, Frank married Miss Pauline Heimermann in Chilton, Wisconsin. He served in the United States Army during World War II and worked at the Kohler Company in Kohler, Wisconsin for 27 years and was a member of the Holy Rosary Catholic Church in New Holstein.
His survivors included: his children, Carol Rick of Suamico, Wisconsin; Vernon Rick of New Holstein and Frank, Jr. (Patti) Rick of Kiel, Wisconsin; nine grandchildren; four great-grandchildren; and numerous nieces and nephews.
Frank was preceded in death by: his parents; wife, Pauline, 1924-1985; one grandson, Donny; five brothers and two sisters.
Friends called from 4:00 p.m. Tuesday, 12 October 1999 until the time of brief family rites that started at 6:30 p.m. Tuesday at the Sippel Funeral Home, 2618 Altona Avenue, New Holstein.
The funeral Mass was held at 7:00 p.m., Tuesday at the Holy Rosary Catholic Church in New Holstein where the Rev. Fr. Donald A. Hmircik officiated.
Burial followed at the Holy Rosary Cemetery, New Holstein, Calumet, Wisconsin; plot: Section 2, Row 7. The findagrave memorial ID is 76399667.
