Amy Beatrice Rickard (married name Nance) was born in 1888 in Kingston, Colony of Victoria, the daughter of Mary Morrish and Nicholas Morrish Rickard.^[1]

She married John James Nance in 1911 in Victoria.^[2]

Their children were:

• Arthur George Nance (1912–1990)
• Beatrice May Nance (1913–1988)

Amy died on 3 January 1973 in Ballarat, Victoria^[3] and was buried at the Creswick Cemetery^[4].
