Marriage
Mary and Eleizer Rickard Jr., both of P., Aug. 2, 1739.[1]
The birth records of his children clearly call him Eleazer Jr. son of Samuel Jr and Rebecca.[3] There was another Eleazer in Plympton born in 1712, son of Eleazer. He may have married Martha King. There are no records of Eleazer and Martha having children.[4]
Probate
The will of Eleazer Rickard of Plympton, yeoman was dated 29 October 1783 and proved on 1 March 1784 in Plymouth. He mentions his wife, and children, Mercy Wright, wife of James Wright, Mary Chase, wife of Consider Chase, Sarah Wright, wife of Perez Wright, Kezia Ransom, wife of Joseph Ransom, Deborah Rickard, and Eleazer Rickard (executor), Abner Rickard, Elijah Rickardand his grandchildren, Lewis Chase (son of Consider). His inventory was recorded on 15 March 1784 in Plymouth. [5]
