Rickard-455 and Rickard-256 appear to represent the same person because: It seems to be widely believed that the child baptized in 1677 is the one who married Jabez Eddy. If there is agreement to merge, I can move the PPP to the Rickard-256 profile.

Rickard-1155 and Rickard-455 do not represent the same person because: Four different girls named Mary Rickard or Marcy Rickard were born in Plymouth to parents named John and Mary Rickard between 1677 and 1688.

Ellen, I believe Mary and Marcy(or Mercy) are two different people. The birth date of 3 Feb 1682 is for Marcy Mary was baptized in 1688. Mary's middle name "Marcy" should be removed.

Below are cuts from some of the data I found on Mary.

It appears to me that it's generally agreed that the Mary Rickard who married Jabez Eddy was the daughter born to John Rickard and Mary Snow in October 1677 -- i.e., the same woman as Rickard-455. Would there be any objection to adding those parents to the Rickard-256 profile and merging the profiles??

Some sources that reached this conclusion include Torrey, cited in this profile, and page 61 of the Eddy Genealogy.

Rickard-1155 and Rickard-455 appear to represent the same person because: Both have same birth date of 27 October 1677 and same birth place.

The Mary Rickard who was born 27 October 1677 is the daughter of John son of Giles, not John son of John. I'm not convinced that she was called Marcy, and I think she married Jabez Eddy, not Timothy Morton, but let's get her two profiles merged.

Is she the Mary Rickard born to John Rickard, son of Giles Rickard, in 1677? If so, this is a match with Rickard-455.
