Joseph Rickard was born in Plympton, Massachusetts, on 20 November 1713. He was the son of Joseph Rickard and his wife Deborah.[1]
He married Lydia Willis of Bridgewater, Massachusetts, on 17 November 1737.[2][3][4] They removed to Killingly, Connecticut, where several of their children were born.[5][6]
