Biography

Stoughton was a son of Joseph and Lidea Rickard, born at Killingly, Connecticut, on 16 September 1752.[1]

In January 1775 Stoughton Ricard was among the subscribers who contributed money toward the acquisition of three acres of land in the First or Central Society of Killingly for the creation of a public common.[2]
