Jethro was born about 1815 in Lebanon, Maine, the son of Ezekiel Jr. and Nancy Ricker.
He married Mary Ann Auld in Boston, Mass., in 1849.[1] Interestingly, Jethro is boarding in Boston at the time of the 1850 census, while his wife has not been located in the census of that year.[2] By 1855, they were living together in Malden.[3] In 1870, they were living in Chelsea, on Salem St., right on the Malden line.[4] By 1872 they had removed to Revere, Mass, where he took up the occupation of farmer, being a carpenter up until that time.[5]
