Anne was born about 1597. She is the daughter of Thomas Riddell and Elizabeth Conyers. She was Christened on the 2nd October 1597 in Sockburn, Durham.[1]

Ann is mentioned in The Baronetage of England: Containing a Genealogical and Historic Account of all the English Baronets. Volume 2.[4]Burke's Landed Gentry, 1847-49 vol 2[5] She married Sir John Clavering b. about 1610 inCallaly, Northumberland[6]. He was Knighted in 1613. Knights of England[7]
