Biography
Anne (Riddle) Woodson is a part of US Black heritage.
Anne Eliza Riddle, daughter of Henry and Susan Riddle, was born into slavery about 1843 .
Anne Riddle and her mother Susan were enslaved by Thomas Henry Hudgins, a small farmer in Buckingham County, Virginia. [1]
She died in 1916 and is buried in Spring Hill in Cabell, West Virginia.[2]
