William Riddle was born in Dorset, England.

William was baptized on 13 November 1803 in Cofe Castle, Dorset, England. His parents were recorded as John & Jane Riddell. ^[1]

William Riddle married Ann Grace, of Mile End, London on 3 March 1829 at St. James parish church in Poole, Dorset. ^[2]

In 1841, William, Ann & their family were living at Marine Place in Poole, Dorset England. ^[3]

In 1851, the Riddle family were living in Marine Place, Poole, Dorset & William was recorded as a Brick Layers Labourer. ^[4]

William Riddle passed away at the age of 83 on 4 November 1885 in London, Ontario, Canada. ^[5] He was buried at Mount Pleasant Cemetery with his wife Ann in London, Ontario. ^{[6] [7]}
