Biography
Interred at Greenwood Cemetery, Muscatine[1] OBIT: DIED, at her home in this city, of consumbion, Sunday morning, Juen 27, 1880. Mrs. Phoeboe VARNER, wife of Harvey Varner, aged 31 years. A devoted wife and loving mother is thus taken away from a household where she was a central star and from which she will be sadly missed. The deceased was a native of Muscatine and had a large circle of acquaintances and friends, by whom she was held inthe highest esteem. Her funeral took place a 2 opclock this after noon, the religious exercises being conducted by Rev. J.H. Barnerd, of the Presbyterian Church.
