Biography

There are two possible birth records for Richie. One in 1914 in Perth and one in 1918 in Swan. The 1914 birth is the most likely one.

The Richard Charles born in 1914, when he married in 1942 was referred to as the son of Mr and Mrs C Ridley. See also https://nominal-rolls.dva.gov.au/veteran?id=807481&c=WW2

The Richard Colin born in 1918 married in 1944. I'm not sure who his parents were for sure. See also https://nominal-rolls.dva.gov.au/veteran?id=765366&c=WW2
