Research Notes

Different christening records give same day, 12 March, but different years - 1730 and 1731, so dob is not fully certain. Image examination, or of the parish register might resolve the issue.

Three records exist of possible burial dates for Matthew. The most plausible is 07 Feb 1803, a few years after the death of his Ann, when he was about 72 years. Other dates are for 06 Feb 1820 and 11 June 1832 - all burials are in Haltwhistle.
