DNA Connections
It may be possible to confirm family relationships with Dallas by comparing test results with other carriers of his ancestors' Y-chromosome or mitochondrial DNA. However, there are no known yDNA or mtDNA test-takers in his direct paternal or maternal line. It is likely that these autosomal DNA test-takers will share DNA with Dallas:

Hi Dallas,

I am managing a Giem One Name Study. You have set up a number of profiles for Giems on Wikitree. I will be adding info and sources to open privacy Giem profiles and including them in the study. Vic

Hi Dallas,

Thank you for reaching out and asking about Johann Peter Fuchs, who arrived with his family in America in 1741.

Your Johann Peter Fuchs who arrived in 1741 appears not to be the same as Fuchs-1053.

Dallas, did you ever find out if my sister Lana H. on Wikitree is of the same Strackbein family as yours? Lana and I are doing our genealogy and I noticed that a few years ago you asked her about the possible Strackbein connection.

Hi Dallas: Jonas Sams was my GGG Grandfather. Are we relatives? My grandfather was Charles Newton Sams. I found yesterday that Lydia wife of Edward Sams born in 1723 was a Potts prior to marriage. Do you know if that has been substantiated. The letter you posted on Jonas's profile I have seen several times as my aunt Theodora Cynthia Wells had it. It had been written by Nehemiah. She had a lot of family information and pictures. I have had a 23andme dna test and have attempted to download but the site wouldn't take it. Will try again. You may have some family history for me. Let's communicate. Thanks. Bev
Hi Dallas,

Thanks for offering info on the Kennedy's. I am looking for details on a William H Kennedy and Walter O Kennedy. William was Walters father. William was killed 21 July 1884 in Lamar county Texas by his own brother-in-law Layfette Wright. Parthenia Wright was Willam's wife.

Walter shot and killed Layfette Wright some 15 years later and was given 5 years in the big house. About 6 months later he was pardoned by the Governor.

Marriage dates for William and Parthenia, burial place, other kids and/or more??????

Hi Dallas, I just added you to the trust list for John Lyming and his descendants. So you can now edit and add to any of the pages you want to. A good place to start is to start with yourself and add your lineage back to the Lemings and then paternally back to one of the men already entered.

Hi Dallas, I am confirming you as a member of Wikitree with full editing rights. Can you go to Henry Liming's page again and ask to be added to the trust list. When you do that I can add you to all the trust list of all the pages I have entered so far.
