Biography

Joes Peter Ries was born in Werbach Germany in 1689 and died 1763. He had four children. His wife was Maria Margararetha Herbert, who was previously married to Andreas Ries who died in 1708. The RC Church gave special dispensation to Maria in 1711 for her to marry Joes Peter Ries.

Joes Peter Ries was born about 1689. Joes is the child of Andreas Ries and his second wife, Katharina Michel. They were married November 3, 1676. The couple had 8 children, of which Joes was number 5. Joes Peter married Maria Margaritha Herbert, February 16, 1711, at Werbach, after being given special dispensation by the RC Church. [She had been previously married to Andreas Ries, who died in February 9, 1708. ]
