Biography

Frederich was born in 1849. Frederich Ries married Maria Bratschi in 1870 in Switzerland. She was his first wife. After she passed away, sometime before 1887, Frederich emigrated to the U.S. He married his second wife, Marie Affolter-Gruetter in 1896. He passed away in 1918. Frederich had three daughters by his first wife, Rosa, Lena, and Marie. [1]
