Biography
Jonathan Rigby was born in Staffordshire, England.
Jonathan Rigby was born in 1850, the son of William Rigby and Sarah Brough. HIs birth was registered during the January-March quarter, 1850, in the Stoke upon Trent district, Staffordshire, England. [1]
Emigration to Australia. Jonathan was shown as four years old when his family arrived in Australia. The Athleta sailed from Birkenhead on November 23rd 1854, arriving Portland, Colony of Victoria, on 19th February 1855. His uncle John and family also took the voyage. [2]
Marriage. In 1873, in the Colony of Victoria, he married Mary Grace Owens. [3]
Death. Jonathan died in 1924, aged 74. [4]
