Biography

Geraldine Joyce Riggall, daughter of Percy Riggall and Mary Helfert, was born on 19 Aug. 1931 in Utica, Oneida County, New York.^[1][2] Her parents were divorced before 1940 and she appeared on the census of 9 April 1940 in the home of her grandparents at Utica, Oneida, New York.^[3] In the obituaries for her grandfather in 1913 and her grandmother in 1948 she is listed as their daughter, and she used the Helfert name in the 1940 census. Her birth record, marriage record and social security records all use Riggall and the social security record shows Percy as her father.

She married Glenn W. Garland on 3 Sep. 1952 at Contra Costa County, California.^[4]

Geraldine died on 3 May 1994 at Baker County, Oregon.^[5]
