Biography
Mary was born on August 3rd, 1855 in Green Brier, Carter County, Kentucky to parents John and Rachel (McFarland) Riggs.[1][2][3]
On June 30, 1870 she married John Tackett.[4] The couple had several children together over the years whom they raised in Kentucky also.
In both 1880 and 1900 the family was located in Moccasin, Elliot County, Kentucky.[5][6] By 1910 they had moved over to Stillwater in Wolfe County.[7]
