Biography

This is a rendition of Jonathan Riggs from a family member: Abraham Teasley was born abt.1750 in Isle of Wight Co., VA; died in 1812 in Orange Co., NC; married 1773 in Orange Co., NC, Nellie Blackburn. Nellie died abt.1820 in Orange Co., NC. Son Jonathan b- abt.1778 in Orange Co., NC; d- 1860 in Bond Co., IL; married June 16,1813 in Orange Co., NC, Sarah Jeany Laws. I believe Sarah Jeany Laws was the daughter of John & Frances Riggs and the widow of Thomas Laws whom she married Aug.17,1799 in Orange Co., NC.
