Burial in McKay Burial Ground, Kenton co. KY
A memorial to the RIGGS in the Florence Cemetery in Boone County, Kentucky [1] says:
James Riggs, 1770-1855, with his brothers, Bethuel, Isaac, Silas, and John, Emigrated from Western Pennsylvania to Kentucky about 1790.
James Married Katharine Hathaway of Montgomery County and in 1809 removed to Campbell, now Kenton, County.
They lie in the McKay Family Cemetery on Highwater Road.
David, b. 1799, Eldest of their 10 children and his 3rd wife lie in this lot with 4 of their 5 children.
Erected by his son, David H. Riggs 1839-1920, who is buried at Petersburg, Kentucky.
