Biography

Sarah Riggs, the daughter of Thomas and Sarah Riggs, was born in Gloucester on November 9, 1715. ^[1]

Sarah Riggs and Daniel Griffin married in Gloucester on January 24,1735.^[2] The following children resulted from this union:

1. Daniel Griffin, the son of Daniel and Sara, was born in Gloucester on October 20, 1735.^[3]
2. Ambrose Griffin, the son of Daniel and Sara, was baptized in Gloucester on February 27, 1737.^[4]

Sarah (Riggs) Griffin, the wife of Daniel, died March 31, 1737, in her 22nd year. She is buried at the Seaside Cemetery, at Lanesville.^[5]
