Elisha was born in 1779. He was the son of Samuel Riggs and Amelia Dorsey. He passed away in 1853.
Research Notes
Research Elisha's involvement in the founding of Riggs Bank. His son George Washington Riggs (1813-1881) was known as the "President's Banker." William Wilson Corcoran (1798-1888) and George W. Riggs were listed as founders of the bank.
