Martha was born in 1677. There are conflicting sources for her place of birth, one being Newark, NJ, the other is Roxbury, Suffolk County, Massachusetts. Birth date is the same.

There is no documented proof that Martha is the daughter of Edward and Mary.

Mary married Samuel Freeman in 1696.
