Biography
Lucia Riina is born and baptized on 17 August 1858 in Corleone. She is the daughter of Francesco Riina and Ninfa Cicirello. Her godparents are Antonino Zabbia and Maria Antonia Mannina, a married couple.[1]
Lucia marries Liborio Grizzaffi on 18 November 1877.[2] Their baptismal records appear together on one certificate in the church matrimonial records of 1871-78. They have at least one child, Serafina (1878), named after Liborio's mother.
Serafina is born 27 July 1878 and baptized two days later as Seraphinam. Her godparents are Francesco di Martino and Caterina Soldano, a married couple.[3]
Serafina dies on 26 August 1879 at thirteen months of age.[4]
Lucia dies in her home at #3 via San Giuliano, Corleone, on 15 May 1885. She is 27 years old (b. 1858), a peasant (contadina), born in Corleone.[5] At her death, both her parents and her husband survive her.[6]
Liborio remarries the following year; Lucia's death record is found in his 1886 marriage publication with Biagia Orlando.[7]
