In 1841 John Ryley (age 30-34) lived at Grove Yard in Warrington, Lancashire with his wife Caterhine (30-34) and four children: Thomas (10), John (5 [~8]), Caterhine (1[~3]), and William (0).[2]
In 1851 John Riley (age 43, Warehouse Man) lived at Golden Grove Yard in Warrington with his wife Catherine (40) and six children: John (17, Apprentice to Smith), Samuel (16), Catherine (12), Elizabeth (7, Scholar), William (10, Candle Work), and Joseph (2).[3]
John's wife passed away in 1854.
John Riley passed away on 3 Aug 1856, aged 48 years. His death was registered in Warrington in the third quarter of the year.[4][5]
